So i heard a great term the other day - David Cutler at EatMedia.com is the inventor - NMF (pronounced “nymph”) or new media friend. What is a NMF - it is someone you meet through online channels or the occasional networking event and rarely if ever meet in person. Of course they also are beautiful young women. After-all, no matter who you are, its a complement that you look like a beautiful young woman. Gotta love greek mythology. So will you be my nymph?
People ask me all the time why I like to push buttons. The asshole answer is that I like toying with people. The real answer is that by pushing buttons you steer people to yes/no choices so that they are either with you or against you. This sounds Machiavellian but it’s really about time. I don’t want to waste time with maybe or I’ll get back to you’s. Even with friends, it’s either let’s go to the bar or i’ll find something else to do - don’t leave me hanging, please. So I don’t allow these situations to happen by calling people on their bullshit and pushing down on their pressure points. Then they give me a true answer, are jealous of my balls and secretly resent me. I think it’s better than letting people walk all over me, what does the world think?
