Springboard Enterprises, NASDAQ OMX, and Capital One Bank will host the Equity Matters: The Route to NASDAQ Seminar Series 2009. Venture catalyst Springboard Enterprises produces results-oriented programs that accelerate women’s access to the capital they need to launch and grow their businesses. The Equity Matters Seminar Series introduces women business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to the sources and uses of capital. Drawing on the expertise of successful entrepreneurs, lenders, and investors, the program provides attendees with actionable information regarding: sources of capital; what lenders and investors look for; and the resources available in the community to assist businesses in preparing for, securing, and employing the most appropriate capital source. In addition, there will be a special workshop session on Financial Projections and the assumptions that go into that magic formula. Attendees may get advice on their individual business issues over lunch with the experts.
